A teenage tree surgeon had his hand chopped off with an axe in an ‘appalling’ attack carried out by an armed mob sparked by a road rage row in Rochdale, a court heard.

Germany: Nearly 40% of knife attacks committed by migrants.

In the first half of 2019, nearly 40 percent of all knife attacks in the German federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia were carried out by foreign nationals, according to the state’s Interior Ministry.

“Thus, foreigners are nearly three times more likely to act as their share of the population of 12,8 percent,” stated the AfD group in the state parliament in Düsseldorf.

Markus Wagner, AFD’s state parliamentary leader told Berlin’s weekly Junge Freiheit: “Behind these numbers hides a great deal of human suffering that should not be happening on this scale.”

He emphasized that being politically correct about the problem and refusing to name it would not solve it. “We do not do justice to this phenomenon if we keep it politically correct.” continued here

UK: Prison inmate launches attack on officers and inmate.

A violent inmate is accused of launching a series of barbaric attacks on prison officers and an inmate, a court has heard.

Lincoln Crown Court was told Aklakur Rahman used makeshift weapons constructed from razor blades to slash a prison officer and a fellow prisoner during an incident at Wayland Prison in Norfolk.

The two victims were left seriously injured with each needing dozens of stitches, officials heard.

The jury was told that Rahman was subsequently transferred to Lincoln Prison and days later tried to murder a prison officer using a piece of masonry he had managed to conceal in his cell

He was then moved to Wakefield Jail where, despite being held under the strictest security conditions, he went on to slash another prison officer using a screw, the court heard.

Philip Bradley QC, prosecuting, told the jury at Lincoln Crown Court: “This case concerns a series of violent attacks by this man in three separate prisons in the summer of 2017.

“The first of these was at HMP Wayland. This defendant subjected another prisoner , David Sutton, to an unprovoked and sustained attack on a prison landing.

“The suddenness of that attack is nowhere better demonstrated than by the inconsequential small talk that took place between them just beforehand.”

The jury was told that Rahman asked Mr Sutton if the canteen was opening and when Sutton replied that it was Rahman suddenly launched his attack.

Mr Bradley said: “Using a makeshift weapon the defendant repeatedly aimed blows at Mr Sutton’s neck and face shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ God is great. continued Lincolnshire live H/T jihad watch

UK: Manhunt launched after British soldier attacked in London.

A serving British soldier was left with a fractured skull and other serious facial injuries after being attacked in the West End of London.

On Thursday, London’s Metropolitan Police Service released details of the assault that happened earlier this year, and investigators shared a CCTV image of a man (below) that they wish to speak to in connection with the assault.

The 28-year-old soldier, who was wearing his formal military evening uniform at the time, was attacked at 3:20am on Thursday, January 21st, on Haymarket in the West End’s theatre district. The victim’s injuries were mainly facial, including a fractured cheek bone, eye sockets, and skull. He also received a broken nose which required a number of extensive surgeries to correct.

The news of the assault comes as London has experienced a rise in crime in the past few years. Marking the third year of Mayor Sadiq Khan’s time in office, the London Assembly’s Conservatives released a report in May that claimed that in that time, knife crime has risen by 52 per cent, gun crime by 30 per cent, and robbery by 59 per cent.

Security for soldiers in uniform has also been an issue in recent years, with military personnel being advised in 2014 to not wear their uniforms in public as security chiefs feared another Woolwich terror attack. The last time soldiers were warned against wearing their uniform in public was in the aftermath of the May 2013 attack, in which fusilier Lee Rigby was run over and hacked to death by two Islamic extremists near the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich, south-east London. continued Breitbart

UK: Afghan asylum seeker sets out to kill the English.

An Afghan asylum seeker who allegedly attacked random members of the public with a knife was ‘fuelled’ by a desire to kill English people, a court heard.

Samiulahaq Akbari, 32, is accused of swinging a 10ins kitchen knife at three ‘total strangers’ within a 10-minute period in Thornton Heath and Croydon in south London after ‘demanding to know their nationality’.

Jurors at the Old Bailey in London were told he approached the first alleged victim, Nicholas Speight, in a Tesco Extra in Thornton Heath on January 8, tapping him on the shoulder.

After Mr Speight confirmed he was English, Akbari allegedly ‘took a powerful swing at him’ with the blade.

Prosecutor Heidi Stonecliffe said Mr Speight could not have known that ‘events would unfold with such frightening speed’ following that ‘fateful reply’.

She claimed Akbari ‘settled on him because Mr Speight was English’.

Ms Stonecliffe added: ‘This defendant had set out deliberately to threaten, harm and kill members of the public by virtue of their nationality, or what Mr Akbari perceived to be their nationality – they were English.’

Despite only lasting a matter of seconds, jurors heard it was more ‘by luck rather than any design’ that Mr Speight managed to kick Akbari off and escape from the attack without a mark on him. continues here
